Employee Spotlight: Adam Tang

Adam Tang has been with Precursor for around eight years now. Starting as an Audit Manager, he worked his way up to become one of the firm's Audit Directors responsible for the firm's largest team, the Audit department. Adam's approachable attitude and willingness to lend his expertise to his team make leading a large group like the audit team pretty easy.

When asked about what his favourite thing about working at Precursor, he said;

What do you think are your strongest traits?

Providing hands-on assistance, teaching and guiding is important to me. So I think those are my strongest traits.

What do you like most about your job?

My job involves solving problems every day, which I enjoy a lot.

What is the best career lesson you've learned so far?

One word - Innovation. Innovative thinking is essential. People who can change with the times and innovate quickly will succeed today.

What do you like to do when you are not working?

Watching movies and hunting toys are two of my favorite things to do.

What would you do (for a career) if you weren't doing this?

I would probably be in the banking industry if I weren't working here at Precursor.  

What is your usual source of inspiration when you tackle a difficult problem ahead?

When faced with a complex problem, I usually draw inspiration from the knowledge that my boss and fellow directors are always there to guide me.

What's a fun fact about you that many people may not know?

A fun fact about me is that I like collecting action figures and toy hunting.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

I would choose the power to Teleport or Fly so that I can travel to different places.

What is something that you could have told your younger self if you had the chance?

“Be brave and daring to travel and explore alone."

What is your personal philosophy? Or a motto in life or career that you follow close to your heart?

Simple - Mind over body.
